GENARAL TERMS & CONDITIONS
DRIVER'S LICENCE AND AGE LIMITS
For groups A, B, C, D, K, J and P minimum age requirement is 21 with at least one year of valid driving licence. Groups E, I, F and G 25 years of minimum age with 2 years of valid driving licence is required. For group O and H, 3 years of driving licence and 27 years of age are the minimum requirements.
RENTAL PERIOD
Rental periods are calculated on a 24 hour basis.
LONG TERM RENTALS
Minimum rental of period is 30 days. Please contact Orpel Travel office for further details about rental rates and conditions.
WHAT IS INCLUDED AND EXCLUDED IN THE RATES
Rates are inclusive of unlimited free kilometres, costs of lubrication and technical maintenance. Petrol and mandatory Value Added Tax at the rate of 18% are on customer's account.
Vehicles are delivered with a full tank, and are expected to be returned back full. Otherwise, a service charge will be applied to refill.
ONE WAY RENTALS
One-way fees will apply regardless of the rental length in the event of the vehicle is returned to a different location.
ADDITIONAL DRIVERS
In order to have additional person(s) drive the car along with the original renter, the details of their driving licence(s) must be registered in the rental agreement at the time of issuing contract. Otherwise all insurance coverage become void and both the renter and the additional driver(s) will be held fully responsible legally and financially for any and all damages and losses to Orpel Travel's property as well as to third parties. An additional fee is charged for each driver on per day basis other than the original renter.
DELIVERY AND PICK-UP
Free delivery and pick-up service is available within city borders during office working hours. Service fee is charged for deliveries and pick-ups to and from places where no Orpel Travel office exists. Calculation is made e.g. the nearest Orpel Travel location to those locations. DELAYED RETURN
If the vehicle is returned after the agreed return time, 1/3 of the daily rental rate is charged for every excess hour. If the delay is exceeded by 3 hours, the full day rental rate is charged e.g. the applicable rate .
INSURANCES
For Orpel Travel, it is a must that the renters are fully insured by the way law orders and to make insurance offers according to the customers requirements. There are two types of protection insurances offered by Orpel Travel. The first type is the mandatory insurance, applied by the government rules that is Third Party Liability Insurance and, the second type is the voluntary insurance and waivers which are the Collision Damage Waiver , Theft Protection and SOS Personal Accident Insurances, are all designed by Orpel Travel for the confidence and safety of the customers. PAYMENT
Full payment is required by one of the major credit cards e.g. the Diners Card, American Express, Visa , Eurocard , Master Card and Access at the time of rental.
TRAFFIC FINES
Legal responsibilities resulting from traffic violations that incur during the rental period are charged to the renter.
AIRPORT SURCHARGE
Surcharge is applied at deliveries in İstanbul Atatürk Airport International Terminal. For fee, contact your travel agent.
OTHER SERVICES
* Baby Seat are available with a notice prior to 48 hours. For service fees and further details, contact Orpel Travel.

IMPORTANT NOTES
In case of an accident, the vehicle must not be moved from the accident site and the accident and alcohol reports must be obtained from the nearest police or gendarme station in order to have the insurance of Collision Damage Waiver remain valid. In case of a breakdown or any emergency need, call Orpel Travel's 24 hour operational service stations given on delivering of the car, so that you would be provided with Tofas/ Fiat or Ford/Otosan 24 Hours On Road Emergency Service.
